ABC | Australian Bastard Cannabis
This rare mutation has been found in the rural South of Australia in the 70´s or 80´s
SWAG Cannabis is a mutation created by our breeder Dr. Kaly (Dr.Mutant). It has a certain resemblance with webbed leaves. Producing fused instead of single leaflets. Another morphological change is that the leaves are entirely smooth on the edges. In the SWAG line of mutations, there is a large range of variability and plenty of opportunities in creating a number of new Cannabis leaf forms. Some lines show entirely fused leaflets with only 1 Finger.
Often referred to “Ducksfoot” varieties, these Cannabis leaves look similar to the print of a ducks foot with skin connecting the single toes. The leaves are usually very wide and at times slightly folded. During the growth “vegetative” phase, they look more like a maple or currant plants.
Variegated Cannabis refers to strains, which produce reduced amounts of Chlorophyl or have entire albino leaves. Several of our strains feature that trait, yet it hasn´t been entirely stabilized. These strains are primarily grown for their huge ornamental factor and their unique appearance. As most of our variegated strains are SWAG or Duckfoot lines, they further alter the appearance making them close to non-recognizable as Cannabis.
