Description
Strain Description:
Mentha de Croco Bx1 F2 (Fem) is the long-anticipated next chapter of the MDC line—selected to lock in the fern-type morphology and refine the flavour toward a complex Lemon-Chem profile while carrying the full MDC signature into a feminized format. Expect stocky, heavily packed plants that put weight on fast, with low leaf-to-calyx ratios and crystalline resin. Leaf expression spans the fern spectrum: some with finer, snowflake-like leaflets, others like the cover photo for excellent canopy light penetration. During testing we also flagged a rare outlier with a perfumy blueberry twist—potent, pretty and absolutely worth a stake.
Aroma & Flavour:
Jar pop delivers an electric Lemon-Chem snap—think limoncello rind over clean solvent sparkle. After the grind it rounds into candied Meyer lemon and cool mint syrup with a sugared-peel brightness. Inhale shows sharp citrus and a chilled menthol glide; exhale settles to honeyed earth and light gas. A minority “Blueberry Parfum” pheno layers violet-tinged berry perfume over the same bright Chem top notes.
Effects:
Extreme Potency, like a short Trip, if not used to it, avoid using when you have something planned that requires good memory or concentration, after 3 hours the high setttles into grounded body—present, long-lasting, and composed. The trippy effect is beautiful to be enjoyed on a hike or a walk in nature.
Plant & Growth:
Plants are naturally compact with minimal stretch during flower, stacking dense, uniform colas on sturdy frames; some phenos (especially the blueberry perfumers) may need support for late flower. Medium internodes, fast bud set, and an easy trim. MDC likes a steady feed on the higher end, they are very hungry, if not fully fertilised during flower it usually shows in the lower density and more open structure of the flowers—so keep fertigation consistent. Veg runs can start a touch slower in the first 1–2 weeks; plan a brief extra veg for even canopies when grown with other strains. Predominantly fern expression (~96%%), with occasional Raptor-style variants.
Germination advise for Mentha de Croco:
* Use light, unfertilized seedling soil in small pots.
* Plant seeds *1 cm deep**, pointy end down, cover lightly.
* Keep soil moist (not wet), warm **22–26°C**, with optional humidity dome.
* Seeds sprout in **4–10 days**; then give gentle light (18/6).
* Remove dome, avoid overwatering, let topsoil dry slightly.
